The newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center reopened its doors after a $620 million renovation and expansion, providing 500,000 sq. ft. of contiguous and versatile exposition space. A brand-new Grand Ballroom with 60,979 sq. ft, 4 separate junior ballrooms and 84 breakouts are just some of the amazing new features available at the center.
As of June 2022, Greater Miami and Miami Beach were awarded 11 of the 15 new MICHELIN Stars, including the only Two-MICHELIN-Star restaurant, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami. Twenty-nine restaurants in the three cities were honored with the Bib Gourmand designation, and Miami had the only restaurants who received special awards in the Sommelier of the Year and Exceptional Cocktails categories. In total, 65 restaurants in Greater Miami and Miami Beach were recognized, representing more than half of all the restaurants in the new Florida MICHELIN guide.
